Amritpal Singh

Amrit is a PhD student in Applied Plant Sciences Graduate Program at the University of Minnesota specializing in Plant Breeding and Genetics. He obtained a B.S. from Punjab Agricultural University in India and a M.S. from Auburn University, AL.His dissertation work is focused on uncovering the genetic basis of resistance to Goss’s wilt of maize through the application of joint linkage mapping, and genome-wide association mapping. Amrit is advised by Dr. Aaron Lorenz
